Offshore geotechnical data acquisition, analysis and reporting specialist Geoquip Marine was contracted to conduct a series of offshore geotechnical site investigations for an offshore wind development off the East Coast of the United States. This project was located 22km south of Long Island.
The project utilised three integrated geotechnical survey vessels from the Geoquip Marine fleet – the Geoquip Seehorn, the Geoquip Saentis and the Dina Polaris – along with specialised equipment for the drilling of composite boreholes and seabed PCPT with a water depth ranging from 23.7m to 43.9m. The combination of teams working together enabled us to safely deliver reliable data to our client.
