OWF Geotechnical Site Investigation, France

Offshore geotechnical data acquisition, analysis and reporting specialist Geoquip Marine was contracted in 2021 to perform an offshore geotechnical site investigation off the coast of Normandy, France. Conducted to support an offshore windfarm development, the project consisted of drilling multiple boreholes in a water depth ranging from 40m-48m.

For this project, Geoquip Marine mobilised the MV Investigator, an integrated geotechnical survey vessel and its GMR300 drill rig. The high-quality data and samples collected enabled Geoquip Marine to safely deliver reliable data to this OWF client.
