Offshore geotechnical data acquisition, analysis and reporting specialist Geoquip Marine is pleased to announce it will be attending the Offshore Windpower 2022 Conference & Exhibition this month from 18-19 October. The event will take place at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, RI and will focus on the present and future of offshore wind development in the United States.
Organised by the American Clean Power Association (ACP), Offshore Windpower 2022 offers an exciting opportunity for developers, strategic partners and industry experts to come together and discuss America’s next major source of energy.
This two-day event will feature a packed agenda of activities including keynotes and presentations from Geoquip Marine customers Equinor and Orsted, as well as the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), the US Department of Transportation and many more. There will also be a variety of networking opportunities throughout the Rhode Island Convention Center. Additionally, Offshore Windpower 2022 will offer on-demand content for those who are unable to attend in person.
With President Biden’s goal of deploying 30 GW of offshore wind in United States waters by 2030, the US renewable energy market continues to receive renewed interest and investment. With years of experience supporting the development of US offshore wind with our comprehensive geotechnical data services, Geoquip Marine is in an ideal position to support further wind projects planned along the East Coast and other key regional sites.
Flanery Tangang, USA Country Manager at Geoquip Marine, will be in attendance on both days, and will be available to meet in person before, during and after the event. Flanery will be on hand to discuss our decades of experience safely delivering reliable data, and the availability of our fleet of integrated geotechnical survey vessels in 2023.
